The Future Is Here: For the sci-fi writer, to say this, it is both exciting and dangerous. Exciting because a new reality has emerged among us; dangerous because now I must re-calibrate my future-vision one step beyond this delightful new reality! So, here it is...
As founder of the profound reality-disconnectedness syndrome PESD (Post-virtual Epistemic Stress Disorder) and author of The KillWare Chronicles, it is only appropriate that I join the Association of Virtual Worlds.
Haven't bloggedy blogged in a while. Something to do with life in the non-virtual world, r-world vs e-world, that sort of thing. Three weeks hiding out and writing at the cabin by the lake (exact location a carefully guarded secret). Nearly finished with KillWare III. Working title: Rainbows In The Wastes. Question: "How are computers and homosapients alike?" Answer: "They're always being tested by their creators."
In the KillWare and PORPAG (Peoples' Online Revolutionary Political Action Group) tradition, K.D. joins and encourages others to join the Net Freedom campaign for Internet Neutrality and freedom of information. (Read about the Global Internet Freedom Task Force established in 2006.)
I've posted a review of When Invisible Children Sing, by Dr. Chi Huang and Irwin Tang, on my xanga blog. I highly recommend for the New Year 2007 this powerful true story of a young intern working with Bolivian street children.
Garbage U - Volume three of The KillWare Chronicles, coming soon to a dump near you.
